Claude Gaylen Cisco

Claude Gaylen Cisco entered into his eternal rest and heavenly reward on September 30, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospital of Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rush and Georgie Cisco, brothers, Rush, Linkeous and Dexter Cisco and sisters, Aileene Stringer and Madeline Kennedy and his first wife, Glennis Rose. Left to celebrate his life is his wife, Audrey, daughter, Georgia (Sissy) Cisco of South Charleston, son, Gaylen David Cisco of Kenova, step daughter, Lamoine Potter of Huntington, WV, and step son, Joe Bellomy of Kenova. He is also survived by grandchildren, Gaylen David "G" Cisco of Kenova, "Special" grandson, Jaxson Bryan Kinder of Kenova and granddaughter, Lexi Potter, plus several nieces and nephews. While traveling this earth, Gaylen never saw a stranger.... just people he had not yet met. He knew no strangers and became a committed friend to all he encountered. His joy was his family and he never failed to expound on their abilities and accomplishments like the proud Dad and Papaw he was. Gaylen was self employed and a avid antique car collector and never passed up the chance to "wheel and deal" for what he considered a bargain. The Bible says in Roman 14:7-8 that "For none of us lives to himself and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lords". Because we, the family, believe in the promise of Jesus, we humbly ask that you join us on Wednesday, October 4th, at 11:00 am at The Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV, to celebrate the life of our loved one. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11-1, with services to begin at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Marty Gute officiating, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The First Congressional Church P.O. Box 1209, Ceredo, WV 25507. These donations will be used for the backpack program. Again, the family requests your presence, not to mourn, but to rejoice in the memories of a life well lived and a heart that loved well.
