Dennis M. Davis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dennis M. Davis, 65, of Huntington, WV, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 30, 2011. He was born March 9, 1946 in Huntington, WV a son of Sarah E. Workman Davis of Huntington, WV and the late Harold R. Davis. He worked for the Wayne County Board of Education as a school bus driver. Mr. Davis was a U.S. Army veteran and he was a member of the WV Army National Guard for over 18 years. Members of American Legion Post #93 Kenova Honor Guard will conduct graveside military rites. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Lee Davis. Other survivors include his wife, Debra Bowens Davis; one son, Adam M. Davis of Huntington; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Kathleen Thomas of West Helena, AK, Michelle & David Zornes of Catlettsburg, KY; Sarah & Jon Tasso of Bremerton, WA and Britani & Kelvin Williams of Lewisville, TX; one special nephew, Jason Bowens of Huntington; two special nieces, Amanda & Christina Bowens of Ironton, OH; three brothers and one sister-in-law, David Ray Davis of Maysville, GA, Donald Lee & Connie Davis of Ironton, OH and Steve Davis of Huntington; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda & Robert LeMaster of Cleveland, OH and Teresa & Dennis Russell of Paintsville, KY; eight grandchildren, Janessa, K. J., PoriAysia, Carys, Baron, Garrett, Caitlin, and Devon. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV.
