Enoch Marcum Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Enoch Marcum, 88, of Kenova, WV. passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Heartland of Riverview Nursing Home. He was born September 4, 1924 in Logan Co., WV., a son of the late James H. and Lettie Williamson Marcum . Enoch was a member of the Kenova Church of Christ and was retired from the Ohio River Company in the maintenance department. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Margie Bowen Marcum and a great granddaughter Candice Hairston and a great grandson Josh Caldwell. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law Janet and Tim Hammond of Ashland, Ky. and one son and daughter-in-law E.J. and Rita Marcum of Dunmore, WV.; three brothers and sisters-in-law Arnold Marcum (Nancy) and Harley Marcum (Carol) all of Pt. Pleasant, WV. and Vernon Marcum (Libby) of Kenova; four grandchildren and their spouses Elaine and Steve, Timothy and Missti, Jay and Kathy and Angie and David; five great- grandchildren Austin, Hayley, Cierra, Mario and Mason and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Kenova Church of Christ with Minister Amos Prince, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-5 P.M. Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova. Mr. Marcum will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
