RIP Shirley Sites, January 13, 2013 Kind words and thoughtful acts can be easy to achieve, there effects can ripple through time making them everlasting. Shirley Sites will live forever in the kindnes she bestowed on all who knew her. Kindness, thoughtfulness, and selflessness were the human characteristice that Shirley valued most in humanity. She never failed to find the good in all people. She believed in the inherent kindness that existed within every human being. Shirley was always prone to random acts of kindness. She never failed to help those around her that were struggling, even if she was struggling more herself. She would and did give everything she had to make others happy. All this sad worlds problems would go away if everyone valued kindness, thoughtfulness, and selflessness over all other things. In lieu of a wake I ask that everyone that knew and loved Shirley to exhibit a random act of kindness in her memory. In that way, Shirley's memory can continue to spread good and can live on forever. Erika Shirley Jean Sites born October 29, 1958 left this world on January 13, 2013 at Cabell Huntington Hospital with her loving family close by. She was the daughter of the late Shirld D. and Eleanor Pauline Sites. She leaves behind a much loved brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Becky Sites and her cherised niece and nephew, Erika Iwen and Josh Sites. Shirley worked for The First Huntington National Bank and then Bank One for many years. She was a dedicated employee and was beloved by all those who knew and worked with her. She would never fail to make you laugh and feel good about yourself. She has left us far too soon and she will be missed. Private family services were held. Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV assisted the family with the arrangements.
