Tib Woods Price Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Tib Woods Price, 71, of Kenova, WV. passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Kenova with Pastor Steve Willis officiating. He was born February 26, 1944 in Wayne County, WV. a son of the late Tib Woods Price , Sr. and Frances Medley Price. Tib attended Vinson High School and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 132, he was also formerly employed with the City of Kenova. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova. Tib was a member of Crescent Lodge 32 AF & AM in Ceredo whose members will conduct graveside rites at Crescent Hill Cemetery following the funeral. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister Jerri Hensley. He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy G. Price; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Melissa; grandchildren Drew and his fiance’ Haven and Jessica; daughter Teresa; son Brian and grandchildren Jessica and Zachary; one sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Rudy and two brothers and sisters-in-law Roger and Jan and Larry and Susan. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Kenova EMS for all their help with Tib throughout the last years. The family also wishes to extend a special thank-you to Mary Lou Sullivan for all her love and care over the last seven years. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M.
